What is an EPP or Auth code?

An EPP/Auth code is a transfer authorization code for a domain. It proves that the domain owner approves a transfer to another registrar. You can request the EPP/Auth code from the domain management screen when transfer lock rules allow it. Keep this code private and share it only with the registrar handling the transfer.
